Smiely Khurana (she/her)
Founder & Executive Director
Smiely Khurana is a sustainability leader, community organizer, and passionate storyteller based in Vancouver, BC. She founded the Climate Wellness Network to address the growing need for mental health support in the face of the climate crisis, particularly for youth and frontline communities. With years of experience in sustainable film production, grassroots organizing, and climate communications, Smiely brings a unique blend of creativity, empathy, and systems thinking to her work. She is also the founder of The Sustainable Act, a climate media agency amplifying underrepresented voices through storytelling, events, and strategic partnerships. Deeply inspired by nature and her lived experience with climate anxiety, Smiely is committed to building spaces of care, connection, and resilience.

Khushi Khosla (she/her)
Operations Manager
Khushi Khosla is a dynamic leader, creative strategist, and advocate for collective change. Originally from New Delhi, she moved to Canada in 2018 to pursue a Bachelor's in Management at UBC. Passionate about the arts and community building, Khushi thrives at the intersection of creativity, entrepreneurship, and social impact. With a diverse career spanning multiple industries, she has built a versatile skill set in production, advising, coordination, and management. Currently working as an administrator in the creative industry and serving as the operations coordinator for Climate Wellness Network. She is also the driving force behind DreamStill Technologies, a fashion technology and events company focused on preventing and diverting textile waste. Khushi is a natural leader who challenges traditional business models, using her creativity to build meaningful connections and empower marginalized communities. She is committed to creating spaces where art, business, and activism converge to drive lasting change.

Eddie Campbell (he/him)
Community Liaison
Eddie Campbell (he/him) began his career working as a support worker for adults with developmental disabilities. After graduating from SFU with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology, the City of Richmond contracted him to write a newcomer settlement guide, after which he worked for Alternatives in Action, helping previously incarcerated men and women find employment opportunities in the community. His career with youth began while working with the Kiwassa Neighbourhood House, coordinating a program which helped immigrant youth at risk remain in school, transition to Canadian culture and find employment part-time opportunities. During his thirty-five years as an Academic Advisor with The Open Learning Agency, The Technical University of BC and the University of the Fraser Valley, he has served on committees focusing on ethics, equity, diversity and inclusion, improving the working conditions of employees, students at risk, indigenization and decolonization. Now in retirement, he is passionate and energized about the opportunities that exist right now, to divest ourselves of the fossil fuel industry, to invest in climate and social justice and our vast social capital -each other, community and solidarity. He is deeply grateful for and inspired by the work of Libby Davies, Naomi and Seth Klein, Astra Taylor, Leah Hunt-Hendrix, Desmond Tutu and Martin Luther King J..

Angell (Junhua) Qu (she/her)
Programming & Community Lead
Angell is a dynamic and committed young professional with a fervent interest in conservation, climate change and energy transition. Her journey has been shaped by immersive internship experiences in her homeland of China, where she cultivated expertise in energy policy analysis, program management, and coordination. During these experiences, Angell focused her efforts on critical areas such as Biodiversity Protection, Carbon Markets, and Coal Cap Consumption. After moving to Vancouver, she volunteers with various environmental organizations, where she is facilitating projects centered around advocating climate workshops and fostering networks among environmental professionals. As an energy analyst, she is diving deeper into sustainable development and decarbonization to drive meaningful change in climate related issues.
